my computer only has one log in user. i download a
program and it tell me that i need to be an administrator
to access this programer. I went to control panel and
selected user accounts. the only person on there is me!
not an adminstrator. is there a way I can see why this
is happening and change it to make me the administrator
or just a single user?

if you loaded xp on your self you are the administrator, or else go to the
control panel click you profile and change your profile from guest to
administrator.

HAS MY NAME TO ENTER. WHEN I TRY TO PUT A NEW SOFTWARE
IN, IT TELLS ME "YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE THE
ADMINISTRATOR" EVEN THOUGH I AM THE ONLY ONE ON THIS
COMPUTER. SWITCHING USERS IS NOT AN OPTION CAUSE THERE
IS ONLY ONE TO CHOOSE FROM.>
