don't try install adminpack.msi from a Windows 2000 Server. there is only
one reson to do that, and thats if you have Exchange 2000 running in your
Organization. may there is a patch out for that problem so Exchange 2000
Administration tools can be applied to Windows Server 2003 Administration
Tool, thats the new version of adminpack.msi you need:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...15-c8f4-47ef-a1e4-a8dcbacff8e3&DisplayLang=en
if you have Exchange do the follow setps to install Exchange 2000 Tools, and
get Exchange Existion Support in Active Directory Users and Computers.
1. install Windows 2003 Administration tools
2. uninstall Windows 2003 Administration tools
3. Install Windows 2000 Administration tools, old version of adminpack.msi
comes with windows2000.
4. Now you are ready to Install Exchange 2000 Administration Tools.
3. Uninstall Windows 2000 Administration Tools
4. Install Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools
if you have Microsoft Outlook XP installed on your computer you got a nice
conflict with IMAP32.dll,
re-install Office XP SP1 and there should be no problem
