Hello,

I'm running a Windows 2000 server and i have a domain.
My question is, is it possible to block access for certain OUs to the
admin shares in w2k ? By GPO or is there something else i can do,
without walking over at every machine and do it manually..?

Greetz,

And if i place a range of computers in that OU and then apply the key.
It will only be effective on that specific range of computers right ?

Thx so far

Greetz,
Bjorn

Yes, that's right. If the Group Policy is applied to the OU it will only
affect computers in that OU.

That is correct.
If you create an OU, move machines into it, set machine based policies in a
gpo for that OU, it will only apply to those machines.
