Dave

I have 2 XP Pro PCs with all accounts having the saem
usernames and passwords.

I login on one PC with an admin account.

When I try to connect to \\OtherPC\C$ I get a box
appearing asking for the password for the Guest Account,
which is disabled.

The PCs are both in the same Workgroup.

I have always been able to connect like this before, but
for some reason can't now.

Any idea why?

Thanks.

Check this:

1. Open the Local Security Policy console in the Administrative Tools
folder, under the Programs menu.
2. Browse down to: Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security
Settings\Local Policies\Security Options.
3. Double-click on the Network Access: Sharing And Security Model For Local
Accounts.
4. Change the settings from Guest Only to Classic.
REBOOT!
