Hi,

havent got administrator rights even thou its my computer and there is only
one account. How can i stop this from happening once and for. I am using
Vista Ultimate 32 bits. Thanks for your help.

Good Evening,

Well until you disable UAC (User Access Controls) you will continue to have
issues with Vista and the rather odd adminstration logic that Microsoft
implemented in it. After I disabled it 90% of all of my problems just went
away! Network issues, installation issues, even just normal file processing
even though as you state, there is only 1 account created and it is
designated as Admistrator!

Many boards already have how to disable UAC already described so I will no
repeat it here.

Good luck.

Matt.

Contrary to mmilford's post I recommend that you do not turn off UAC. You
will be giving up most of the increased security in Vista. Here is a link
explaining UAC, how it works, and why it is important.

So also the security on your computer.
