Admin password forgotten

Can anyone out there save my life.
My daughter has lost her password on NT 2000.
She was down as the administrator so can not recover it.

She has her school course work locked in so can not re-
install.

Is there any tools or tips out there that can help
please.

Locksmith v1.0 - from www.sysinternals.com

Winternals makes a product called ERD Commander which can be used to boot
the machine and from there you can change the local account passwords to let
yourself back in. www.winternals.com

Tried this as a test, It did not work. I was able to sign on with the the
proper administrator password.

Yeah that is just plain wrong....safe mode does not get you around the
password.
