I am having a terrible time! I just started in this office and no one seems to know the stupid admin password! The guy that set up their system left long ago....?!?!?!!!!! Unbelieveable...so anyway...have tried to follow all the advice, but I cannot understand all the mumbo jumbo (no speak computer). I need help!!!! and basic help at that, something that my little mind can wrap itself around! Thanks!!!!

There are a few options open, but they all involve booting from another
device, floppy or cd.
First option: look for a bootdisk image which is capable of changing the
admin password. Most of them are Linux based. Problem with these tools is
that they don't work on Win2K servers.
Second option: pick up a copy of ERD commander. This is a great utility
which boots from CD and allows control over your system.
