Admin.log in.

there are two users on this pc, win xp both have admin access. But I need to
dl a security patch, but it wont let me unless I am admin. I can only sign
into admin, acct by rebooting,pressing F8 & going to safe mode, but then I
cant go online to dl the patch? HELP PLEASE? thanks

There is no difference between "the" administrator and a user with
administrative access when it comes to installing things..

What patch are you trying to install and what message are you getting when
you try?
 
Its a security update for java virtual machine under MS03-011, But it says
that I have to log in as administrator to dl. I cant do it under any acct
with the admin,access.
 
You should have an option for "Safe Mode With Networking" (right below "Safe
Mode"). This should allow inet access.
