I have windows 2000 installed on a network. My network
user name is part of the admin group but when I tried to
install some software it tells me I must be a member of
the administrator group. I added at least two other
people to the admin group and we all got that message when
logged. I was finally able to install the software using
the local Administrator account instead of a network
account. Does anyone know why I would get that message
when I am a member of the admin group and short of re-
installing the O/S is there anyway to correct this problem.
Thanks
