I am puzzled by somethign that has happened to me several times. I am the
admin user of my system and should have control over all premissions in any
profile, but I have come accross folders and files that I am unable to rename
or delete. When I look at the attributes I see the file/folder is read-only,
so I try to clear the tick box but I am unable to do it. Can anyone explain
why? Is there something I can do?
I would appreciate any comments that shed light into this.

These are folders that I created. Why would the name be relevant? As the
aministrator I should have control over data I created.

Sorry, one pice of info that I forgot to add. These files or folders may have
been created in a differnet computer and copied over to the new computer. I
don't know if that is when they became read-only, but I can't see any other
event that would trigger that.
