Admin Account

I'm not a new user. But maybe I should be! I got tired of thr login screen
coming up after ten minutes of idle time, so I disabled the Admin and user
accounts. It worked until I shut the machine down. Now the login in screen
tells me to click on my user name, but there isn't a user name present. How
do I work around the login to reset the user accounts?
Feel free to beat me up, but please get me an answer.

What do you mean by "disabled" the accounts? Have you tried booting into
Safe Mode?
 
Try pressing ctrl+alt+del to see if you get the classic login dialog box. If
yes, then you should be able to log in as yourself or the administrator
account.
 
In the control panel - Admin screen you can check a box that disables the
account. Yes I have tried "safe mode" to no avail.

did!
 
Yes. Press ctrl+alt+del at the login screen and see if you get the old
windows nt style login dialog window. If the dialog window comes up, then
you can log in as any valid user.
