When installing Windows 2000 on multiple computers that are intended to
belong to the same domain, is it wise to set up the Administrator's account
on each machine with the same password? (I mean the initial local account
for Administrator that is setup when you first install Win2000, before the
computer has joined the domain)

If you do, you could easily administer your computers from anywhere on your
network. If you don't, you will strengthen your security, but if you wish
to administer your computers from anywhere on the network you'd have to
enter user and pass for each machine when logging on.

I think unless each machine has different administrators you should keep
administrative passwords same. Alternatively, if every machine has the same
administrator (person or machine) make passwords the same.
