Which administrator account? Is this an account you created or the built-in
system administrator account? Are you currently able to log on with an
administrator account?

The built in Admin Account is what was disabaled. I can
only log in with a guest account.

Thank you for your response. However i can only log in as
a guest and the account is disabled in the Local User
Groups.

Please advise how i can enable this again.

You will need to access that built-in admin account to fix this.

If you have XP Pro, you can do this easily by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at
the log-in screen. This will give you the classic log-in window. Type
Administrator in the account line, leave the password blank (unless you have
a password set for that account) and press OK.

If you have XP Home, you will need to boot to Safe Mode. Reboot and when the
system first starts to initialize, start pressing the F8 key until you see
the black screen menu. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode and press
ENTER. Select Administrator and press OK.

Once you are logged in, go to Control Panel and create another account with
Administrator privileges. Use this account on XP.

Disable the Guest account.
