im getting a lot of programs telling me i dont have admin access. i kind of
think it has something to do with my access to the root of C.. anyone know
whats going on with the security here?

personally i would like to open it up... im willing to take a risk.. so any
info on how to do that would be great..

Thanks
Justin

Right click the applications executable and click Run as Administrator. If
its not available, its possible that the Administrator account is disabled.
Click Start > right Computer > click Manager > expand Local Users and Groups
select Users > right click Administrator > Set password.

Also try disabling UAC. Click Start > All Programs > Run > type in MSCONFIG
Tools (tab) > scroll down select Disable UAC > click Launch, restart your
system for the changes to take effect.

i turned off the UAC and that helps a bit.. i have enabled the admin account
but the issue with that is, im already a system administrator.. the admin
account shouldnt have any more access than myself.

thanks for the help!
