I use the following Adm template that I created. It hides the IE Address
Bar. It adds a DWORD Value NoAddressBar and NOADRESSBAR. I can't figure out
why both are being added in the enable state.

Also is there a way to remove the whole key not just the valuename in the
disable sate. Currently in diable state the valuenames are removed.

It appears that even though I have written a whole new ADM file from scratch
it is pulling what I had in an old one that I applied int he past. I have
removed the file from GPO but it still applies the old configs when i enable
the new policy. Why is this.

If your custom ADM made settings in other than one of the four keys listed
below, then most likely you have "tattooed" the registry and have not
created a "true policy".

HKLM\Software\Policies
HKLM\Software\MS\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
HKCU\Software\Policies
HKCU\Software\MS\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies"

GPOs using custom ADM templates that make settings that are not entries in
the above keys are making permanent changes to the registry that are not
undone when the GPO is removed.
