I have created an adm that works on gpedit.msc on the local machine. I
would like to use this thing in a domain, but first I would like to clear a
couple of things up. I am on my XP workstation in a Windows 2000 domain.
Do I need to load this adm on the DC itself or can I load it from my XP
workstation with Admin Pak? Also, if I load it via Admin Pak will it show
up when I access the GPO from the DC? Where should I store the adm file?
On the DC in C:\WINNT\inf? Also, when I install this adm on the DC or via
Admin Pak will it show up on my BDC? I am guessing yes. Thanks to those
that can answer these questions.

Yes you are correct about the inf dir and also loading the adm file
using the admin pak. I recommend you downloading the GPMC tool. Its
bad ass and the only way to manage Group Policies. Are you running in
mixed mode? And I'm assuming you still have NT4 boxes? You motioned a
BDC? M$ doesn't support NT4 anymore... so do your best to get rid of
those boxes.
