Everytime I am connected to Windows Messenger Live, and one of my contacts
gets online or I get an incoming message, I hear the alert sound. Which is
fine, unless I am on a call using Skype, Voip Buster, or windows itself,
which interrupts me completely because I continue to get that little sound in
the middle of my conversations. How do I turn offor disbale that message
alert, without muting everything else? Please help me!

You are probably better served by addressing your question
to the microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger group.

try Tools / Options / Alerts and Sounds. There are a few options in
there which may help you out.
