Adjusting Registry Size

I created and ghost image using sysprep and when I copied
over to another machine, I'm getting the following errors:

"User Environment Windows can not Load the Users profile
but has logged you on with the default profile for the
system. Detail: Insuffient memory resources exist to
complete the requested service."
Then it logs me in under the adminstrator's account. When
I try to use one of the other accounts within the image, I
get:

"Windows cannot load your profile. Please increase the
registry size and restart your computer"

I maximized the paging file in the original image and not
the registry. In looking at it now, it says that
the "current registry size is 18MB and the maximum
registry size is 16MB". How much difference can or should
there be between the current and maximum registry size?
What will the effects be? The system specifications are
6GB HD, PII 333-350MHz. Thanks in advanced for your
help.

To simplify, The Maximum HAS to be LARGER than Current. Take current and
add 5 or more and you should be good for quite a while.

In W2K, is there a way to get to DOS so I can run REGEDIT
and modify this parameter?

No. There is no "DOS" in Win2K. There is however a command prompt
text-mode interface. It's cmd.exe.

Can you not use the provided method? Namely: System Properties,
Advanced, Performance Options, Change, Registry Size.
