It seems like the screen on my Dell laptop is hard to read. It's not as
bright as it was yesterday. Is there a way to adjust it?

Most laptops have some sort of Brightness control on the keyboard.
But, since we can't see you computer from here, you'll just have to look
at it yourself, I'm afraid. If the proper control isn't readily
apparent, you'll just have to break down and read your manual.

Katie,
Two things:
1) check to make sure the AC power is connected. I believe most laptops dim
the display to a preset level if the unit is on battery power.

2) There should be two keys on the keyboard which control brightness...you
press/hold the fucntion key then repeatedly press the bright up key...
sorry, not at the laptop to look to see just which key is up......

Katie,
Try holding down the Fn key, (The one between the Ctrl and Windows Key) and
click on the uparrow and down arrow keys. That is the way mine works.
