I am trying to adjust the height of only the top row which contain field names in the datasheet view of a table. I do not want to adjust the record rows. Any solutions?

1) As far as I know, you cannot change the Field Name row in Datasheet
view.
If this is important to you, change to Form Continuous View.
Here you have control over the heading formatting, height, etc.

You should not be using the table to display your data. Create a form in
continuous view and put the labels in the header.
