Adjust Delay on Speaker Icon

Is there a tweak to adjust (shorten) the delay between the time when I
single click on the speaker/volume icon in the system tray and when the
volume control actually appears?

The actual time that takes to show the volume Icon, is the time the computer
takes to load app sndvol32.exe into memory.

I don't think there's a tweak to shorten that, only a faster CPU.

If I type Start | Run "sndvol32.exe", the mixer panel pops up. If I
single click on the speaker icon, a single slider pops up. I'm
interested in knowing if there is a way to cause just the slider to pop
up faster. Maybe the slider adds a command line switch on sndvol32.exe?
