need help getting adfarm of my laptop!

4 anti-spyware/removers and still...

even ms antispyware cant seem to do the job.

#1 Please submit a suspected spyware report to spynet.
(tools->submit suspected spyware report).

Feel free to say what you've got in place and have tried,
and that it didn't work.

#2 Once that has completed, please reboot into safe mode
logged in as administrator
and run a full AntiSpyware scan.
(open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the scan page choose Scan
options > Full System Scan (check the boxes below) >
click "Run Scan Now" ) scan with the latest signatures to
see if that helps.

It is also important to do a full virusscan with an
updated antivirusprogram in Safe Mode

Apply the same principles with the following AntiSpyware
solutions in safe mode:
Spy Sweeper - www.webroot.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder -

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com

Dear Engel
i have a question for you
1.i have tried with other spyware infection and by scannin
g in safe mode but nothing changes(the infection is still
there) and then when i install another spyware program i.e.
ad aware it takes the infection away without rebooting or
going into safe mode so why is it that MS antispayware has
to always go into safe mode??

Thanks Alien

Hello Alien

By starting in safe mode, you are disabling startup
programmes and 'non-essential' services.

A lot of bad things hide behind startup programmes.

On the past this method (safe-mode)has good results, thas
way I used as a safety precaution.

Dear Engel
yes i no that safe mode stops non essential services from
starting but my question was why is it that ONLY MS anti
spyware has to use safe mode so much ...
Thanks Alien

Hi Alien

Probably because now is Beta, with the final relase, this
steps should be unnecesary.
