In my opinion gave a marvellous performance at Glastonbury last night. Here's a page from the festivals' 2007 programme showing her first performance there, a half hour slot on a Sunday afternoon billed as a 'Glorious agit-folkie'.

Adele 800.webp

I've watched a few other acts from the festival, I thought the Foals were good, also Roisin Murphy, ZZ Top look tired and I thought Muse were superb. I also thought Gillian the keyboard player in New Order looks like Alan Rickman.

I'm not an Adele fan but I did catch a bit of it and have to say she is pretty good live. Funny too, and quite the potty mouth.

Aye, I'm not an Adele fan but she does seem a very likeable individual and no denying her talent.

I don't care much for Coldplay either but they were good last night, lots of energy. Two moments - they brought on former Bee Gee Barry Gibb who sang Stayin' Alive and then to close Michael Eavis, the festival organiser, sang 'My Way' with them.

I also watched ELO who, despite having a full string section, to my mind just went through the motions. They were never the same since they chucked out Roy Wood.
