I recently upgraded to Windows 2000 and found that I
only have about 20 fonts. I had many, many more with the
Millenium edition and am trying to figure out if there is
a way I can access additional fonts. I use them primarily
in Word documents. Please let me know how and where I
might find these as I had absolutely no success navigating
Microsoft.com. Thank you.

You can add fonts by installing graphics programs such as Corel Draw or
Photoshop.

If you want cheap fonts, try a budget DTP program such as Serif Page Plus.

If you want free fonts, try the internet, e.g.

http://www.pcfonts.com/index.php

or you could try the newsgroup: alt.binaries.fonts

- basically you are looking for Truetype fonts or Opentype fonts.

Microsoft does have one or two on its home page (downloads).

Take care,

John.
