addressing problem

I imported a text file into my Outlook 203 contact folder. Everything looks OK, with all the information imported into the associated Outlook fields.

But I'm having a problem addresssing a new e-mail message:

When I create a new e-mail message and try to select a contact from my contact folder, the e-mail name/address is not inserted into the address block of the mail message screen. Instead, it loks like a "." is inserted.

I'd sure appreciate any help!
 
You imported incorrectly and did not populate the Email field.
