Contacts are listed. When trying to address email, right click on contact,
select ACTION, select SEND EMAIL, pop up tells me NO PROFILE. Seems to
indicate that I have to go to CONTROL PANEL, select MAIL, I do that and get
another pop up that says "profiles on this computer" and there are none. Do I
have to configure OUTLOOK in some way? In Windows Mail I go to TOOLS, click
OPTIONS, click SEND, I find that it is set to automatically list potential
receipants, but it doesn't except when I type in "s" then it lists my
alternate email address and Symantec Trouble center. Can anyone tell me what
is WRONG!!!!

No, this indicates that Windows Mail is not your default email handler.
Change that in Windows Mail, Tools/General, to the bottom. Or go to the
Start Menu in Vista, Default Programs, and select Windows Mail to be the
default for all supported protocols. HTH
