Does anyone know why addresses from the Outlook contacts address book (Outlook 2000) don't show when trying to set up an envelope or label to be printed in Word 2000? This doesn't happen all the time so I am assuming the problem has to do with Outlook rather than Word. Thanks for any help!!

Not from what little you've told us. Contacts just randomly disappear? There
must be more of a pattern than that. Do you have any other clues? Which
Contacts are missing? How many Outlook profiles and how many Contacts
Folders/PST files do you have?

The contacts that I put into Outlook Contacts are always there as I entered them. The problem is when I try to print an envelope or label in word using the Outlook address book. It will show the name and the country, but not the street address, city and state portion. This only happens for some of the contacts, and it is constant with these contacts; it never shows the street, city, state. I have only one pst file. I keep thinking it must be how I entered the information in the Outlook address book in the first place. I have probably 125 names in my contact list and maybe i/5 are affected.

I don't think she meant the contacts disappear. I think
she's saying when she attempts to create an envelope or
label (from the TOOLS menu, in WORD) the address isn't
coming up in the window like it sometimes does/should.

Then you would need to state the steps you are using to insert the address.
To learn about ways to control how an Address is inserted into Word from
Outlook, take a look here:
