I seem to have "lost" my address book, so that when I want to send an e-mail
and I do not remember the e-mail address, my address book comes up as empty
and the only way that I can send a letter then is via my contacts which is a
bit of a nuisance. I don't know what happened to my address book or how to
get it back again!.

Assistance would be appreciated

Thank you for your reply. I followed the instructions according to the
article that you refer to and when I eventually get to "set this folder as an
e-mail address book" it is greyed out.

Where to now?

Might want to provide the rest of the information I requested. No one can
provide help in a newsgroup without the requisite information. In general,
when you can't select the option to designate a folder as an email address
book, it means you haven't added the Outlook Address Book Service to your
profile.
