We have a user that is working outside the network on a private xDSL
connection and he has a trendmicro client installed on his
workstation. The client happily updates its virus signatures from the
internet (in the absence of the server on the network) but... for
various reasons we need to turn off DNS on the workstation, mainly
because management do not want the user accessing internet sites,
other than a web based citrix session. We get around the citrix
session by having no DNS but putting the Citrix address in LMHOSTS so
only that name resolves. We want to do the same for the TrendMicro
client, but do not know the address on the internet the client updates
from. Anyone have that information or suggest a tool to identify the
address.
Thanks
