The following will Clear/Delete typed entries in the RUN Command box on the Start-up tab, and typed entries in the Address bar in IE at the same time. You can't clear one without clearing the other using this method.
When XP is using the XP Start tab:
1. Right-click the Taskbar> Select Properties> StartMenu tab> Press the Customize button next to XP Start tab.
2. Select Advance tab> In the Recent Document section press the Clear List button> OK> Apply> OK.
When XP is using the Classic Start tab:
1. Right-click the Taskbar> Select Properties> StartMenu tab> Press the Customize button next to Classic Start tab.
2. In the Recent Document (or words to that effect) section press the Clear button> OK.
***I know personally in Win98, that if you Right-click the Desktop taskbar, there is a similar Clear Recent Document button that will accomplish the same, if you are not using WinXP. There might/should be something similar for people using WinME & Win2000.

Addresses I type in the address list will not delete. I
clear history and cookies but the addresses are still
there. How do I remove them?
