I just got a new computer with XP. My old computer ran on Windows 95. What I am wondering is, where is the
address command line. All I see is an address bar that is inactive and a series of preloaded links to
Customize links, free hotmail, Windows, and Windows Media

If you're talking about IE go to Veiw - toolbars - address bar
make sure it's checked

Hi, Bob.

What is "the address command line"?

Do you mean the Command line? Click Start | Run. Or hold the Win key while
you press R. Then type your command in the box and press Enter or click OK.

Or do you mean the Address line in Internet Explorer? Where are you seeing
this "address bar that is inactive and a series of preloaded links"? What
happens if you press F11? That toggles the Full Screen mode off and on.
Full screen is not the same as a Maximized window, which is not the same as
a Normal window stretched to fill the screen.

If that's not what you meant, post back. Or try the Help and Support file.
