Is there a setting that you might change to have just the location of a URL
typed into the address line that will not need the HTTP:// or thw WWW. A
friend on mine can not type just the address without the HTTP://WWW. and the
rest of the address. She used to be able to type disney.com and go to the
disney Site. Thanks in advance.

My address bar was doing the same thing. I even downloaded IE7(beta) in an
effort to correct problem. It did not work. I then restored the computer to a
date when I knew the address bar worked. I was proud of myself for
successfully conquering the task. I came home from work to find the same
problem again. I followed the directions presented from Vincenzo and the
address bar works again. I found it easier to copy and paste the information.
