I know to delete the history will wipe out all the url's
from the address window area. But when you type in one
letter no hhtp or www. a list will appear and drop down.
How do you clear that out since there are sites/links that
are in there I don't want others to see. Any help would be
appreciated

There are lots of autocomplete features in XP. If you are
referring to the URLs then you will need to turn
on/off "Show
friendly URLs" and "Show friendly HTTP error messages"
and "use inline AutoComplete" and so on. These are in the
tools\internet options-advanced tab.
