What is the file extention of the Outlook address book. I want to place that file on the server at my office so I can then import into my new notebook pc. I've brought over my pst files which apparently have all of my old emails but the address book did not come with it
thanks

Outlook does not have a separate address book file.
Your Contacts Folder contain all Contacts data.
Perhaps you simply need to configure your Outlook Address Book.
If you need more help, at least post your Outlook version. You gave us no
information.

Go to Tools > Services. Make sure the Outlook Address Book service is
listed. If not, add it. Next, R click on the Contact folder or folders you
want the OAB to display, choose "Properties", go to the Outlook Address Book
tab and check the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box. You may
also need to go to Tools > Options > Addressing Tab and choose to show your
Contacts folder.
