Can I convert an Outlook Express address book (George.wab) to a personal
address bookthat I can use oin MS Outlook (mailbox.pab)?

Thanks
George

No. Nor would you want to. PAB's have not been in use for years and are no
longer supported.
If you want this data in Outlook, you must first import it into Outlook
Express on the same partition. From there you can import into Outlook.

I have just started using MS Outlook after using Outlook Express for many
years. I notice in MS Outlook in the address book there is a drop down box
that is labeled "Show Names From the:" It appears that I can use Contacts or
another address book.
I have two hard drives in my computer and on the 2nd hard drive I have an
address book organized in folders that makes it easy to use. Eventually, I
want to use Contacts all together, but until then, can I get access to my old
address book with the multiple folders?
The reason I ask the original question was someway I created a address book
in MS outlook and it is named mailbox.pab
Thanks
George

The Outlook Address Book will only display Contacts Folders that reside in
your Outlook profile's information store and that have been enabled as email
address books in their properties.
