I have some distribution lists that I e-mail to often. In Outlook 2003, I
would type the name of one of the groups into the "To" box of an e-mail until
it would self populate, then finish the e-mail and send. The name of the
distribution list would be in the "To" box with a little + sign to the left
of it.
This all seems to be the same in Outlook 2007, except that after sending in
2007, I get a report in my inbox saying that the mail is undeliverable. When
I look at what was sent, it looks like Outlook is trying the e-mail to the
actual name of my distribution list, instead of to the individual addresses
in the list. What could I do to solve this? Thanks!!!

How did you migrate your data file to Outlook 2007? DL's rarely, if ever,
survive a migration of your data.

Hey Russ, Sorry that I did not reply sooner.
I created a PST file on my old computer, and copied it to my new computer
and opened it in Outlook 2007.
In the past couple of days, I have actually created a new distribution list
from scratch in Outlook 2007. I have the same problem when I try to send to
the new distribution list. Outlook tries to e-mail to the distribution list
name itself, instead of the indivdual e-mail addresses contained in the list.

And how did you configure this old PST file to be your default and to be
included in your Address Book Service?

Hey Russ,
I have been playing with this new Outlook, and I am not sure what I did but
it seems to be working fine now. I believe that I fixed it when I made a new
distribution list and copied all of my old contacts to it from the old list.
Thanks for your help!!!!

All's well that ends well. I suspect your original DL got corrupted in the
transfer. They almost always do.
