I'm running Outlook 2000 (on Win-XP).
I'm getting confused about my (personal) address-book/contact list
info, where I keep info about people I correspond with.
Sometimes when I'm in a UI for my address book, I get a
layout where I can have two separate email-addresses for the
same person, but where one of those email-addrs is
CLEARLY the 'default'.
Yet other times (like when I click to show my contact list), I see
that same person listed twice (as if there were two entirely separate
entries) for that person, and it will say 'E-mail' or 'E-mail 2' after the
entry.
So, my question is: How do I explicitly bring up the FORMERLY-described
UI for my address book (so that I can which of these email-addresses
is 'default' and which is 'secondary')?
And, please explain in simple words where my confusion stems from.
e.g. are 'contact lists' not the same as 'address-books', or is this just
an alternate-view (that might be settable somewhere!?). What concept
am I missing?
TIA...
