Address Book transfer of Addresses

Have new computer with Wxpsp2. Transferred all files and programs via Wxp
wiz. Problem no addresses transferred from ol 2000, but the wab.exe that held
them transferred to oe. ol shares the same pab files on my old computer. Is
there a way to capture the addresses and transfer. I used a flash drive to
hold and transfer the original data. Help

Are the addresses kept in a pab-file or in the Contacts folder? Did you
configure the Personal Address Book and/or Outlook Address Book correctly.

If you haven't done so already I suggest you import the pab-file into your
Contacts folder and configure Outlook to use it as an Address List;

my ol 2000 shows all addresses as contacts. i went to the faq site to attempt
your fix. tools in either the ab or the general ol toolbar did not show
e-mail accounts in the drop down so i could not complete the instructions as
outlined. the current files with addresses showing in the ol ab are from the
wab files noted as c:\program files\outlook express\wab.exe. These addresses
can be accessed from my desk top, ol, or oe. it seems that i am able to
transfer the programe "exe", but not the actual addresses to the new computer
with windows xpsp2. any other suggestions as to how to capture and move this
information to either the oe (for sharing) or directly to ol on the new
computer??
