I was working for a company and used my personal laptop to access the
exchange server. I just deleted that connection and moved everything to a
POP3 server. It's all working fine, except the address book. It's not
reading my from my local .pst file. I can I fix this?

Outlook version? What did you actually move? What address book are you
expecting to see?

I'm working with Outlook 2003. I created a new .pst file for my info and
moved the contents of my inbox there. I thought the contacts moved as well,
but I must not understand it completely. Basically, I can still see my
contacts folder, but I cannot bring them up in my address book.

If you only moved the Inbox, then you didn't move your Contacts. You can
import them from your old .pst file.

But is that really the case? You said you can see your contacts folder, but
you didn't say if you can see anything in it when you switch to that folder.
