I have a new computer and copied my Outlook .pst file from my old computer to
my new one (I have done this many times with no problems). On the new
computer, everything appears, except my contacts. So, I tried synching my PDA
on the new computer...same result...even though the contacts still show on my
PDA (and on my old computer). I have copied and rebooted three times now, but
the results are still the same. Help! What am I doing wrong?

Contacts are kept in the Contacts folder Are you saying the it's empty? I
don't see how it could be if you copied the PST, since it's in the PST along
with all your other Outlook data.

I am aware the contacts should be in the contact folder. I used to teach this
stuff. But this is something I have never encountered before. I also realize
that the .pst file contains everything, and that is the mystery. I just
thought maybe someone else had encountered this strange problem. As I stated,
I have done this a number of times, with no problem. Does anyone have any
ideas for me to try.

Can you think of anything you did differently this time?
As Brian says, this simply doesn't happen. I've never seen it reported
unless someone copied the wrong PST file (e.g., an archive PST file will
contain messages and no Contacts).
I trust you have a backup.
