Hi!
Has anybody tried to import his address book from Outlook Express to Windows
Live Mail? If so, does WLM keep the GROUPS of addresses?
I am thinking of going from Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail because
Windows Mail has flushed all of my 53 Groups to leave me with a long list of
addresses. I need these groups for my newsletter...
Thanks!
Luce

I can't answer your question because I've never had
any groups in my address book. However, WLM questions
should probably be asked in the WLM newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

"Live" Mail, will convert the Contacts directory and put your info in
the directory:

C:\Users\(userId)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live
Contacts\([email protected]\shadow

I don't know what stupid format it uses! I assume they are protecting
your data by putting it in this format, so no one can read it other that
the Live Mail program.

Course if you use the Web Live mail product, it wants to dl the contacts
to there directory!
