Whenever I open Outlook Express after start up I get a
message indicating that the host "pop1.sympatico.ca"
could not be found. I've contacted sympatico and I gone
through all the proper settings, so this is not the
problem. Once I close this error message I then get
another one which says "The Address Book failed to load.
Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-
install". I don't have a CD for this as it came on my
computer at the time of purchase. I've tried upgrading
from the downloads website, but this does not fix the
problem. Is there a solution which does not involve
spending a minimum of $45 to Microsoft for technical
support?
