Address bar

I would like to be able to just type in a web address
ex.(www.espn.com) to get to a certain web site.Since I
installed XP I now have MY SEARCH which does not let me
get to the proper sites I am looking for. Please help me
if you can.

Open Internet Explorer. Go to View->Toolbars and check the address bar.
