My address bar has suddenly disappeared. I didn't click
anything; it's just gone. How can I get it back?

I wish I knew. I have the same problem. The address bar

is ticked on the view menu but does not appear on the
screen.
 
Under IE> View> Toolbars, Address Bar is checked, right?
Try...
Right-click on your toolbar and uncheck "Lock the toolbars." Grab the
"handles" on the other toolbars and move them around- up & down as well as
sideways. The address bar should appear.

the back button or file menus are. You should have a
window pop up that lists all of the "views" Click on the
one that says address (so it is checked) and it will re-
appear
