Jim

I no longer get an address bar when I open Explorer. Help
tells me to go to view, then toolbars and click on
address. The only thing this gives me is a block to the
far right of the icons. It does not expand and it gives
no url's. The only way I can reach a site is by using the
search function, type in the url and then hope that the
one I need comes up in the search results. I tried
reloading Explorer and I've checked internet options,
reset values, etc. If anyone can help with this I'd be
deeply appreciative.

Thanks

Hullo - I can think of one reason why this may be
occuring. Go to your toolbar, right-click, and check
whether "Lock the Toolbars" is checkmarked. If so,
unclick it. That'll allow you to move the Address bar
again.
