I am using Windows XP on a Toshiba Laptop. Originally, my internet address bar use to retain web pages that I had previously visited. This no longer happens and I have to type in the address every time. Can anybody tell me how I can get my address bar to retain my pages again.

Try going to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, and unticking the 'empty Temporary Internet Files folder when Browser is closed' box

Also try turning Auto Complete on :

Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> (AutoComplete) Settings -> ad check the Web Addresses option.

I'm wondering if you have some kind of malware on your PC.

What antivirus etc protection do you have?
