Address bar won't work anymore

I can't use my address bar to do a search anymore. Does
anyone have any suggestions for me so that I can make it
work again?

What type of error message do you get?

You may want to investigate for parasites.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
