Address bar to yahoo search

when i type in a a web address it is taking me to yahoo search whereas the
webpage IS located but very frustrating....further...upon clicking on the
link......i must refresh the page several times on order for it to
load.......this is really frustrating.......any help or ideas would be great


i dont know if this could be related.....but i cant seem to get out look to
do anything but sit there........upon trying to access anything it hangs and
has to be shut down


All of this is post Windows XP Pro SP2 install and post recommended outlook
installs
