Address Bar Search

Why when I try to search using the address bar do I get
the standard 'Page Unavailable' before there has been any
attempt to search?

I have recently changed my internet connection from
standard AOL dial-up to BT Broadband and wonder if this
could be the underlying problem?

I have scoured through all online support and contacted
my ISP but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
