address bar rerouting

I've gotten some kind of spyware program or something that
redirects me to other web pages when I type a URL into the
address bar and click enter. I don't know where it came
from or if it's some kind of program or not, but I cannot
use the address bar to navigate. When I type and press
enter it reads, to the left of the progess bar (for
example) www.yahoo.com = "name of advertisment site" and
redirects me to the second site. I've tried everything I
can to find a program or reset settings to try and disable
this, but I really don't know what it is. Can anyone tell
me what sort of file I should be looking for, or how to
change setting in IE6 to keep this from continuing?
Please reply to (e-mail address removed)
Thanks,
Matt
